Kit van Tulleken has worked in publishing and related media industries for over 30 years, with experience in magazines, radio broadcasting, contract publishing, books and newspapers. For 14 years she was the European Editor of Time-Life Books where she helped build its highly successful publishing operations in the U.K. and Europe. In 1988, Ms. van Tulleken was Managing Director of The Pofcher Company ("TPC"), a specialist investment bank handling international mergers and acquisitions in the publishing and information industries. She established the U.K. office and worked on a range of major transactions in the U.K., Europe and the U.S. in the education, STM, legal and business information sectors.

In 1995, Kit van Tulleken established The van Tulleken Company, in London and New York, continuing her work in international M&A in the information, publishing and technology industries. Since founding the Company, she has initiated and successfully completed over 100 transactions. Ms. van Tulleken has worked with the leading international publishing and media companies including von Holtzbrinck Group, Wolters Kluwer, Nielsen (VNU), Hearst, Pearson, UBM, Reed Elsevier, Dolan Media, Hachette, and Scholastic as well as with investors and private equity firms including Warburg Pincus, Cinven, Boston Ventures, Veronis Suhler Stevenson, 3i, and Palamon.

Based in the U.K., she divides her time between the London and New York offices. Ms. van Tulleken is a graduate of McGill University in Montreal, a member of U.K. P.E.N., and a Governor of King's College School in London.
